Long ago, when I was a sweet girl, we learned at the convent school that persuing virtues is the best way to become a valuable person. I happen to recall that even Alain de Botton, surely a flawless atheist, agrees on this. Now the Internet has a much firmer grip on the mindset of our youngsters than Mother Superior in my time.
